Brown's Southern Smoke was really good - so good that after we finished our meal, we ordered more to take with us for later. The brisket was really good. The outside of the building looks a little rough, but the food inside was great, so if you're looking for fancy this might not be the place, but if you're looking for really good smoked food, this is the place! We will definitely be back next time we come through the area - I highly recommend!

This is about a year late but Brown's catered my wedding goodbye brunch on short notice and it was fantastic. Great food in a town where great food is hard to find.
Wonderful food. We had a brisket baked potato. Smoked, fall apart, with crunchy bits. We ordered another to take with us for supper. The owner is proud of his food and should be! We were passing through, but I wish we lived near. Also garlic free for those of us who need that
